There’s no Health Without Mental Health!

Making Mental Health Awareness & Treatment more Accessible, Affordable, and Effective

Beta Care Mental Health Treatment Center was founded in 2018 as an extension of Beta Care Hospital (which was opened in 2007).

The idea to start a Mental Wellness Center  was inspired by the challenges identified in our community, and the region as a whole.

Many people don’t know that they are affected by certain ailments that are related to mental health. Stress, depression, and substance abuse, for example, come about as a result of mental illness.

Healing for people with mental illness or sobriety for those with addiction and substance abuse is the best thing that can happen to an individual struggling with these ailments.

Our outpatient and inpatient recovery programs cover mental related issues and we are NHIF accredited.

Psychopharmacology covers a medically managed withdrawal to ensure a safe transition to a healthy outcome in whole.

Psychotherapy for a new, healthy lifestyle

Mental health disorders, including stress, depression, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, and substance abuse, tend to ravage relationships within the patient and also between the patient and other people. The result is loneliness as the patient leaves his/her family and friends, which may cause them to fall back to substance abuse.

Psychotherapy helps the recovering clients to build back their confidence and self worth as they create a new person with a healthy lifestyle.

Our psychotherapy sessions include:

  • Individual therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Couple therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Occupational therapy

Our Programs

Outpatient Program

This is an hourly consultation for clients who want professional guidance in overcoming their mental health issues, but need the flexibility of a program that fits into their schedule.

Clients can maintain their regular responsibilities as they live at home under this schedule, but they must check into treatment at their scheduled times for therapy and/or medication

Partial Hospitalization

This recovery program provides a high level of care while allowing the client to return home each night after treatment. It is suitable for people with more complex mental health issues

The therapy intensity and daily organization are comparable to those seen in inpatient / residential programs. You will need to be at the facility for 4-6 hours per day, at least 5 days per week

Residential / Inpatient

This is a live-in program where patients can receive supervised and structured care from specialists for both drug and/or mental illness and alcohol addiction. Clients who need round-the-clock psychiatric care also benefit from this program.

The inpatient program provides recovering patients with a safe detox, a higher success rate, and a supportive community. It’s the best option for those fighting these severe ailments.

“To Treat Those with Mental Illness and also Help Those Addicted to Drugs and Alcohol Attain Sobriety and Assume Healthy Lifestyles.”

What does Beta Care Hospital - Recovery Unit do?

We pride ourselves in offering a highly supportive healing environment with greater personal attention given to our clients in their recovery from alcohol or substance abuse, mental disorders, or sexual addiction.

What kinds of mental ailments or addictions do Beta Care Hospital - Recovery Programs deal with?

We address many cases of prescription overdose and addiction of marijuana (cannabis),  nicotine, alcohol, and sex addiction as well as psychiatric and mood disorders.

Is the facility 12-step based?

Yes we offer a 12 step recovery program

Is the facility accredited?

We are recognized and accredited by NACADA to provide treatment for substance abuse. Our treatment programs are also recognized by NHIF, so applicable members may qualify for rebate to cover some of the costs of treatment.

Does the facility have a formal way to monitor quality of care?

Yes. The rehabilitation facility and hospital are co-joined. This allows us to provide our clients with a full medical/clinical staff. This is particularly important for clients who have existing comorbidity.

Can we have a tour of the facility?

Absolutely, Potential clients and family members are more than welcome to make an appointment to come visit the facility.

Is there an aftercare or continuing care plan developed?

Yes, for each client, their counselor will guide them in creating an exit plan and have support lined up for when they complete the program

Are there other specialists available if needed?

Yes, if our physician feels a client is in need to see a specialist outside of our facility, he will refer the client to the required specialist. One of our staff members will accompany them to these appointments

Are we allowed to visit our loved one or make phone calls?

Visitation is by appointment over the weekends and phone calls are monitored by staff. No visitation in detox. Phone calls in detox are on a case by case basis.

How Long Can Recovering from Alcohol or Drug Addiction Take?

It may take anything from 30 days to three-months depending on multiple factors, like the type of addiction, duration of use or abuse, and severity of symptoms. Some types of addictions allow for short-term rehabilitation while severe cases generally require long-term treatment.

Does an addict have to ‘hit rock bottom’ before offering help?

Certainly not. We offer early intervention services in an effort to prevent the situation from getting worse, like if the individual contracts deadly diseases through sharing needles or the person becomes involved in criminal activities.

What does social reintegration entail?

Throughout the addiction treatment program, clients are given various opportunities to put the tools and competencies they have learned in therapy into practice.

Clients strive to solidify their learning through daily interactions at the center, cultural and recreational activities or outings, or scheduled meetings with family members, so that once treatment is completed, they will be better prepared to function in society without turning back to drug abuse.

Any concerns that arise in the course of these activities are addressed within our therapeutic environment.

All of this is aimed at improving the client's ability to adapt in the outside environment, as a new person, after he or she leaves our facility.
